Presentations and discussions will also address public policy and long-term care organization’s approaches to promoting access and quality of care for older Minnesotans.

This course is planned and hosted by MAGIC. For more information contact Heidi Holste, Executive Director of MAGIC.

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

1.     Describe best practice approaches to address brain disorders among older people.

2.     Collaborate effectively across professions to address problems above the knees such as mental health, hearing, communication, swallowing, oral health, foot care and vision problems among older people.

3.     Lead efforts to respond to changes in public policy related to care of older people.
