Clinicians Dedicated to caring for Minnesota's older adults

MAGIC Annual Conference

The 2022 MAGIC Conference will be held on November 3 and 4, 2022.  The past two years have been virtual conferences and in 2022, our first day will be virtual and our second day will be in person.

The first day is a half day and concludes with an annual meeting.  The second day will be a full day.  The MAGIC Education Committee is in the process of planning the 2022 conference.

Please check back in May of 2022 for more information.

A typical MAGIC conference is planned to address major clinical, policy and leadership issues related to care of older adults and those in long-term care settings in Minnesota. In 2021, we had Ashton Applewhite as our keynote speaker.  Ashton is the internationally recognized author of This Chair Rocks: A Manifesto Against Ageism.  We also had speakers on topics will including challenging practical issues such as sleep disturbances, diabetes, what we have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, recent changes in long-term care regulations, and self-care for professionals. In a one and a half day workshop format, we also discussed equity and diversity in long-term care. MAGIC invites clinicians and students from all specialties, professions and the general public to attend.

Sponsorship and Registration coming in mid-May.
