Overview
The MAGIC conference annually convenes clinicians in geriatrics to explore a wide range of topic including: Alzheimer's disease/dementia, THC/CBD, deprescribing, antipsychotic use, BEERS criteria, STOPP/START criteria, managing anxiety, delirium, behaviors (both pharmacological and non-pharmacological), MN Medication Repository Program, and other topics related to pharmacological interventions.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:
- Describe approaches to reduce use of inappropriate medication, polypharmacy, and medication non-adherence.
- Describe optimal use of newer medications for common geriatric conditions.
- Explain recent Minnesota policy updates related to care of older people.
- Identify ways to become a leader in geriatrics related to teaching, policy advocacy, or clinical practice improvement.
- Discuss how to collaborate across platforms to address medication prescribing and usage.
